Article marketing is a great way to:
- Get more traffic to you affiliate offers
- Build backlinks to your existing affiliate offers
Even though mass submitting the same article to tons of article directories may have some effect, the real key to getting most money for your time and effort is to submit unique articles.
Google loves backlinks, good SEO website structure and unique content.
Google (and other search engines) will therefore rank your articles higher if they are consisting of unique content.
A great and time saving way to do this is to use an article spinner, which basically is an affiliate tool that converts your article into numerous unique ones.
How?

When first starting out as an affiliate marketer, many choose to earn their first income by reviewing products to receive a sale when someone ends up buying the product.
This is perhaps the easiest way to earn quick commissions..
..if done properly!
This blog posts discusses how to write good reviews about information products, but feel free to adjust the techniques for promoting other types of products as well.
Keep in mind the following when writing reviews:
- Buy the product you are promoting, or get a review copy. You can be way better at selling something you have seen and tried first hand, than just from quick guesses.
- Also mention not so positive sides about the product, but include how your reader can make up for that by giving them free information or how to report/video which solves the problem. Your reader will trust your review more if they see your review is not just a salespitch.
- Include ratings in form of stars, dices etc
- Make a video where you show the viewers all or some of the following: you buying the product, a peak at the members area or inside an ebook (ask product owner for permission if in doubt), go through the sales letter with them.
- Get an interview with the product owner

I little while back I read an article about a new website called Fiverr.com, where people tell you what they will do for $5.
Sounds cool and weird at the same time, I thought, and went over to have a look.
People are offering to do everything from installing wordpress, to giving makeover tips, translate or make you a song for $5. You can also suggest what people should do for a fiver 
How to use this service to your advantage:
- Offer some affiliate marketing related service, and use the opportunity to network/partner with your clients
- Have someone write you cheap articles for your marketing
- Outsource smaller parts of your affiliate work
- Offer to sell secretive report on your niche, and include affiliate links inside
- Say you will offer a $50 (or other) reduction to your own or other peoples product for $5

Setting goals as an affiliate is key to success!
And, make sure your goals are:
- attainable
- not too easy to make
- some are short term
- some are big and long term
- divide big goals into manageable chunks
Even if you have all the time in the world at your hand, if you don’t have clear goals as an affiliate, you easily waste too much time.
Make a point out setting a goal for what you want done 30 days from now, and do something consistently every day for 30 days.
The results you’ll see are amazing, especially if setting goals are alien to you.
Just jotting down on paper a few goals has great impact, as you commit to the goals by just stating them.
Of all the affiliate tips I have given you, this is one of the most important and fundamental.

Just wanted to point out to you all that while we often come across ebooks, videos, courses and etc, there are lot’s of blogs out there on affiliate marketing.
These can often offer tremendous affiliate resource for you, if you find the right ones.
You can use these blogs as an affiliate resource for spotting trends, learning new affiliate tips, write blog comments for traffic or to try and network with the bloggers themselves.
To get started, you can:
- Try a google search for affiliate marketing blog
- See if some of your favorite gurus have blogs
- Use google reader or other feed subscrition service to stay up to date
- Use google alerts to be notified whenever someone blogs about certain keywords
Basically, don’t just look for new affiliate ebooks, courses, videos or how-to’s..
..remember to read up on some up to date blogs as well.

As an affiliate marketer, learning is an important part of our livelihood.
Affiliate learn new stuff often daily when developing a new offer, blog, website, squeezepage, video etc.
Without knowledge and continous experimentation, implementation and training, an affiliate learn nothing and easily fails.
To make sure you are on the top of your game, always try to watch a video, read some pages from an ebook, look for blog or forum posts and pick up a new thing or two every now and then.
It is easy to take what you as an affiliate learn and develop it into 1000 ideas at ones, but to avoid this I recommend to dedicate a notebook or use Evernote to keep a list of all your ideas, and new things you want to try out.
Don’t implement everything you as an affiliate learn at ones, but keep your list handy as a tool when you have time for something new.
Do something about your future as an affiliate marketer today, and go learn a lot from Michael Jones’ The Affiliate Code.
Remember, continous new knowledge is the key!
