Here are the steps to follow:
Do a quick and easy brainstorm on what niche you would like to research. Think of niches where you think people are willing to pay for information or products.
When decided on a niche, make a list of keywords you would use to search if you were looking for something to buy in that niche.
Head over to iWebTools Backlink Checker and type in each of the top 10 results to see how much competition there is. If you think you can make more backlinks than them, you have an easy niche.
If competition is too high, start over with other keywords, or possibly new niche
If competition is low, start blogging, making articles, squeezepages etc and target them for your goldmine keywords.
Sound straight forward, right?

Sadly though, many people do it the wrong way, don’t succeed and possibly get themselves banned in the process.
The right way to use forums for your affiliate marketing is to compose a good signature which has a link for your website with your primary keyword/keywords as title.

The easiest way to make video work for you in your marketing..

Get a free trial copy of Camtasia Studio (software to capture videos of whats happening on your computer)
Make a presentation in Powerpoint, Keynote or OpenOffice Impress (whatever software you might have)
Make sure you have a microphone (stand-alone, in your headset, built-in to your pc, etc)
Record while you talk over your presentation.
Make it simple, short and to the point.
Include your website addressat the beginning and at the end of the presentation
You now have a video which you can submit to several video directories (youtube, viddler etc).
There are many software tools and website services that offer to mass submit your videos.
If you have no budget, you can use Tube Mogul for free.
If you do want a tool that mass submits video, as well as articles, social bookmarks, social networking sites and more, I highly recommend you have a look at SEnuke which is a SEO software tool that does it all for you.
When submitting your video to these sites, make sure you include a link to your website or what you are promoting.
Spell out the web address in full lenght, such as http://www.yoursite.com/. This makes your link clickable (very important with youtube for instance).
Google loves video, and rates video high in their search engine.
Also, by submitting your videos to several search engines, and linking back to your website, you are building backlinks which ups that site ranking in google.
This strategy is still underused, and if you are the first to use video to build backlinks and increase visitors in your niche, you have a lot to cash in on before this goldrush dies out.
